The development of the interactive exhibition in conjunction with The Blurring the Boundaries exhibition began with a series of community team meetings. The project represented a collaboration with Ringling College of Art and Design sculpture students led by professor, Doug Loewen.

The students designed a workbench for visitors to construct objects to hang in the gallery. In effect visitors were invited to participate in the creation of a community installation.
