CONSERVATION AT THE RINGLING MUSEUM Interactive Exhibition The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art Curated by Fayanne Hayes This multi-faceted installation presented a variety of hands-on experiences and opportunities to learn about techniques employed in conserving and restoring objects from the Museum’s permanent collection. It also included information about the period in which the Museum's founder, John Ringling, lived, worked and collected. Authentic X-Radiography images of paintings from the Museum’s permanent collection were displayed on light boxes revealing the evidence found hidden beneath the surface of paintings and sculpture.
